Cadillac was out at COTA all week. The first several days were training for dealers, and today was a customer day. I managed to snag a spot in a group that had a few no-shows. We got 2 laps (well, an out lap and and in lap) around the track, then some parking lot exercises in various cars. I had an ATS-V sedan on the track, a CTS in the “dynamics” course, and an ATS (non-V) coupe in the autocross course. They’re all nice, for sure. The ATS-V is nice enough that I’d consider buying one. It’s fast and nimble enough to satisfy my sports car jones, and it’s way civilized so if I don’t feel like being a hooligan I can just set the cruise control and Cadillac along.
I’d love to take one for a weekend test drive some time. Perhaps in another year or 2 when I’m ready to make a purchase of my next car I could maybe hook that up.

Makes me wonder if anyone rents them. Maybe Hertz? I would love to try one.
